For the safe cooking of barbecue in the country, it is necessary to properly prepare the appropriate area, which will minimize the risk of a fire, writes Lenta.ru with reference to Angelina Surkova, an expert at the VseInstrumenty.ru online hypermarket.
So, it is advisable to organize a barbecue area in an open place where there is no dry grass, leaves, paper or other flammable materials. The expert also did not recommend installing barbecues and grills on lawns or terraces, as this can contribute to the emergence and rapid spread of fire.
Surkova also noted that the distance from the barbecue area to the house should be at least five meters, and to the neighboring site – at least 10 meters. According to her, it is also necessary to take into account the distance to the water source. “For example, next to a water pipe or a body of water, or have a bucket of water or a hose to quickly put out a possible fire before it grows into a big fire,” she said.
Earlier it was reported that in Russia there were new fines for summer residents. Violation of the rules for cooking barbecue will cost 2-4 thousand rubles, and with the introduction of a special fire regime – tenfold.
