The Russians hounded Maria Mironova for her sympathy for Israel

Actress Maria Mironova again faced harassment on social networks because of politics. The artist was attacked because of a post published after the Hamas terrorist attack, which killed more than a thousand people: “Beloved Israel, strength to you.”
“Why is Mary so drowning for Israel? Did she dig up the roots?”, “If we grieve, then for all those innocently killed! I feel sorry for the Jews, but don’t I feel sorry for the Arabs? I feel sorry for the Ukrainians, but don’t I feel sorry for the Russians?”, “We need to stay at home, but don’t run away from your country, the holy land is where you were born,” “Why weren’t there such posts about Donbass?” – read the most neutral comments.
In the past, the actress was attacked because of words of support addressed to People’s Artist Liya Akhedzhakova, who condemned the special operation and the policies of the Russian government in general. Mironov was also suspected of being a Ukrainian sympathizer. The actress, who preferred not to rant on topics outside her competence, was required to give an unequivocal answer as to who she was for. And when Mironova said: “I’m not silent… I’m crying,” they accused her of criticizing the SVO.
