A resident of Crimea for 22 years established a channel for smuggling military products – he sent it through post offices under the guise of civilian goods, informs Baza telegram channel.
It was possible to reach the Crimean citizen thanks to his sending to Japan. At customs, two shipments were intercepted, in which there were armored panels for body armor.
The man was searched and found in his house and in the garage other items of military equipment, including a wristwatch with the function of detecting sources of ionized radiation and anti-fragmentation goggles.
Two criminal cases were initiated under the article “smuggling of other weapons”. The Crimean citizen faces up to 7 years in prison.
