St Petersburg State University asked law enforcement agencies to conduct an audit after a statement by an associate professor of the Institute of History of St Petersburg University about the Russian Military District that spread in the media and social networks, according to the website of the university.
Earlier, a screenshot from a telegram chat on behalf of an associate professor of this educational institution was circulated on the network – in it the author spoke out against the special operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.
At the university, commenting on the information RBCreported that if law enforcement officers establish that employees or students who are mentioned in the materials “committed illegal actions”, then in this case the university will consider the application of disciplinary measures – up to expulsion or dismissal.
