The Russian Union of Martial Arts formed a detachment of volunteers to participate in a special operation in Ukraine

After graduation forum “The Battle of Champions – 14: Schools against Schools” a detachment of volunteers of the Russian Union of Martial Arts (RSMA), numbering about 100 people, will go to training, and then to the military operation zone. This was announced at the opening ceremony of the forum by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and co-chairman of the RSBI Yuri Trutnev.
“A detachment of volunteers has been formed – there are more than 90 of them. They are all present in this hall – they are masters of sports of international class, honored masters of sports, first-class athletes, all those with whom we shed sweat together in training, ”said Mr. Trutnev, thanking the volunteers for the decision (quote from TASS). He noted that RSBI should not stand aside in the current situation.
The press service of the Deputy Prime Minister’s office explained that the detachment consists of 98 volunteers, they will be trained at the military center in Gudermes. The detachment united fighters from Moscow and the Moscow region, Adygea, Tatarstan, Karachay-Cherkessia, Leningrad, Pskov, Sverdlovsk, Kirov, Tambov regions, Krasnodar, Perm, Stavropol territories, Crimea, as well as Yakutia, Khabarovsk Territory and Primorye.
The fact that about a hundred members of the RSBI are going to go to the zone of military operation was reported on November 21. The decision was announced at a meeting of the leaders of the federations that are members of the RSBI, held in Khabarovsk, reports IA AmurMedia. RSBI was created in June 2005. Now it unites 71 All-Russian sports federations and organizations.
