Later, the patient was asked what he saw “in the next world.”
“There was no light at the end of the tunnel,” the man admitted, describing what happened to him with the words “as if I was turned off and on.”
Doctors say that the main miracle is that after such long resuscitation measures the patient retained all mental and cognitive abilities. More often, people, if they manage to survive, become deeply disabled, as brain cells suffer due to lack of oxygen.
