The Russian football team has risen in the rankings of the International Football Federation (FIFA) to 38th place, as stated in a publication on the organization’s official website.
It is noted that in the previous version of the ranking, posted at the end of October, Russia occupied 39th place. From that moment on, Valery Karpin’s team played a friendly match, in which they defeated the Cuban team with a score of 8:0.
The top ten rankings also underwent a number of changes. In particular, England took third place, and Belgium took fourth place. Brazil became fifth in the FIFA rankings, and in addition, the Netherlands and Portugal swapped places, occupying sixth and seventh place, respectively.
