The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Monday reported on the use by the Russian Armed Forces of a new generation of precision-guided munitions against Ukrainian troops in the zone of a special military operation (SVO).
It is noted that the Russian military department published footage of the use of new generation precision-guided munitions to destroy equipment, weapons and command posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As the Ministry of Defense noted, the ammunition was used at a hangar installed by reconnaissance and additionally reconnoitered with the help of UAVs, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) sheltered armored combat vehicles and carried out their maintenance and repair.
According to the statement of the department, it was possible to achieve a hit in the center of the hangar from the very first shot. The ministry added that the projectile pierced the ceiling, after which it exploded inside the hangar, destroying and incapacitating the armored vehicles and vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine located there.
