Oryol Governor Klychkov: Russian military destroyed an American Abrams tank in the Avdeevsky direction
Governor of the Oryol region Andrei Klychkov, in a publication on his telegram channel, reported that soldiers of the guards special forces brigade destroyed a US-made Abrams tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) during an offensive in the Avdeevsky direction.
Klychkov noted that from the first days of the special military operation (SVO), the region has been interacting, among other things, with soldiers from individual guards special-purpose brigades. He pointed out that quite recently the authorities visited the 3rd Guards Brigade and gave them an armored vehicle, and today they once again distinguished themselves on the front line by knocking out an American Abrams tank near Avdievka.
The head of the region clarified that the US-made tank was hit on Wednesday in the Berdychi area during the ongoing offensive of the Center group of troops in the Avdeevsky direction. Klychkov added that the military sent a video of the destruction of the enemy tank, and congratulated them on the successful operation.
