The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian military personnel, using high-precision corrective ammunition “Krasnopol”, neutralized an FH-70 howitzer of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU), which was firing at Russian positions from the outskirts of the city of Seversk in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
According to a report from the Russian military department, the crew of the Orlan-10 reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Southern Group of Forces discovered the position of the artillery crew of a British-made 155-mm FH-70 howitzer. It is noted that artillerymen of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired harassing fire at the positions of the Russian Armed Forces from the outskirts of Seversk.
As the ministry noted, after transmitting the coordinates of the target to the fire control point of a separate artillery brigade, the command decided to strike at the Ukrainian nationalists. For this purpose, high-precision guided ammunition “Krasnopol” was used. The department added that the enemy howitzer, its crew and ammunition were destroyed by the very first shot of the Russian military.
