The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation is investigating the destruction of a polling station in the Zaporozhye region, reported in the press service of the Investigative Committee.
“The Investigative Committee of Russia will establish the circumstances of the incident, and the actions of all those involved will be given a legal assessment,” the message says.
On the night of September 10, as a result of a drone attack in the Zaporozhye region, one polling station was destroyed at night, no one was injured. How noted Deputy Chairman of the CEC Nikolai Bulaev, the purpose of the attack was intimidation.
Attempts to attack polling stations were also reported in the Kherson region. September 8 air defense system destroyed two drones in the Skadovsky municipal district.
Elections from September 8 to 10 are being held for the first time in new regions – the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. The head of the CEC, Ella Pamfilova, said that the commission may postpone elections in some areas of the new regions at the last minute if the situation worsens and a threat to the safety of voters arises.
