An intelligent self-propelled shopping cart was invented by a craftsman from Yaroslavl. Recently, its development was protected by a patent of the Russian Federation.
The author describes his invention as a multifunctional commercial commercial vehicle capable of autonomous operation. The cart will, like a dog, accompany its temporary owner on his entire route through the trading floor. To do this, it will be equipped with wheel movers, each with its own electric motor (this brings the wheels to rotate autonomously, and the trolley to maneuver), WiFi and Bluetooth modules, as well as a GPS / GLONASS modem. In addition, the robot cart will have scales, a QR and barcode scanner, a calculator and a payment terminal. That is, it will be possible to buy what you need immediately after the user transfers the goods from the shelf to the basket.
It will be possible to control the smart cart both using the remote control and through a mobile application. Among other things, it is planned to equip it with video cameras that will allow the robot not only to maneuver normally in the flow of customers, but also to evaluate the consumer’s reaction to a particular product. Also, for the convenience of the buyer, the inventor is going to provide his device with a USB charger.
