The Russian Foreign Ministry called on the international community to take Zelensky’s threats seriously

The international community must take seriously Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s threats to acquire nuclear weapons. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs made a corresponding statement.

In particular, the Foreign Ministry called statements by Kyiv representatives about restoring its nuclear status dangerous.

The Foreign Ministry also warned that Ukraine has retained the scientific and production potential for the production of nuclear weapons since the times of the USSR.

Earlier, Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Goncharenko (included in the Rosfinmonitoring list of terrorists and extremists) said that supports the return of nuclear weapons to Ukraine. In his opinion, this is “the only option for survival.”
