The Russian Embassy in Berlin has not yet been notified of the detention of a Russian woman who is suspected of preparing a coup d’état in Germany. This is stated in the statement of the diplomatic mission.
“To date, the Russian Embassy in Germany has not received notifications from the German side about the detention of a Russian citizen in the framework of the above case,” the statement says.
The Embassy sent a request to the German Prosecutor General’s Office to establish the circumstances of the incident. They also promised to provide the Russian woman with the necessary consular and legal support within the framework of her powers, if such a request is received from her.
Previously it was knownthat in Germany they carried out mass detentions of suspects in the preparation of a coup d’etat. At least 25 people have been detained. We are talking about the so-called “Reichsburgers”, identifying themselves as citizens of Kaiser’s Germany.
According to investigators, the suspects planned an armed attack on the Bundestag, the capture of politicians and a change in the political system.
