The Russian Defense Ministry announced two shellings of the ZNPP per day

Over the past day, the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant was fired upon by Ukrainian troops twice, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
It is noted that the attacks on the station were carried out from large-caliber artillery pieces. “As a result of the shelling, four munitions exploded in the area of the oxygen-nitrogen station, and one more in the area of special building No. 1,” says in the message.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the position of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, from where the shelling was carried out, was located to the west of the village of Marganets, Dnepropetrovsk region.
On August 25, the head of the pro-Russian military-civilian administration (VGA) of Zaporozhye, Yevgeny Balitsky, reported 17 strikes on the territory of the ZNPP over the past 24 hours. According to him, a total of 29 shellings were recorded in the region.
During the special operation, the Russian Armed Forces took control of a part of the Zaporozhye region of Ukraine, including Energodar, where the largest nuclear power plant in Europe in terms of the number of units and installed capacity, the ZNPP, is located.
The head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, expressed concern about the situation around the ZNPP. He said that he would personally lead a mission to the nuclear power plant in the next few days. Bloomberg reported that the arrival of IAEA experts to the station will take place no later than September 5.
On August 26, Grossi stated that the presence of the IAEA mission at the ZNPP could become permanent.
