Russian artillery carried out targeted strikes on the fortified positions of the Ukrainian army in the village of Tonenkaya before carrying out its assault, said the operator of a reconnaissance UAV of the Russian Armed Forces of the group of troops “South” with the call sign “Shmel”.
Reconnaissance copters transmitted information about camouflaged observation posts and enemy firing points, after which the artillerymen carried out targeted strikes, Shmel reported.
