In Putin’s message, Russians most liked the ideas dedicated to family – Kommersant

On March 2, VTsIOM published the data of a poll conducted the day before and dedicated to the message of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly. According to the survey, 80% are somehow aware that Vladimir Putin delivered a message on February 29. 30% claim that they closely followed his speech, 41% of respondents answered that they learned about his main ideas from news and publications in newspapers and the Internet, 25% of Russians did not follow the message.

The president’s speech made a positive impression on 86% of respondents, and a negative impression on 9%. Most of all, respondents (21%) liked his president’s ideas on supporting young families, maternity capital, and benefits for children. The respondents’ least liked ideas were those related to special military operations and tax policy (both topics received 3%).

The majority of respondents named trust (36%), hope (35%), and confidence in the future (33%) as the emotions that the message evoked in them. 85% of respondents believe that Mr. Putin has a clear action plan, a strategy for the development of the country. 51% believe that he will be able to implement the plan for the development of the country, which he outlined in the message, 35% are inclined to believe that he will do this partially.
