The President of the Russian Premier League (RPL) Alexander Alaev apologized to the fans for the match between Baltika and Spartak in Kaliningrad on November 25.

The football players had to take to the field in heavy snow. At the beginning of the first half, the game was interrupted for three minutes to remove snow, and the start of the second half was delayed by 11 minutes for the same reason.

Another “snowy” match took place between CSKA and Rostov. However, this time the players were given a red ball, since the white one with orange splashes was poorly displayed on the broadcast, which was noticed by the fans of Baltika and Spartak.

“I feel better, but first I would like to apologize to the fans who watched the Baltika – Spartak match. This is a flaw in the league, our mistake,” Alaev noted on Match TV, answering a question about the red ball at the match.

After the match between Baltika and Spartak, fans arranged fight. The police detained some of them.
