As told “Championship.com” President of the Russian Premier League Alexander Alaev, due to heavy snowfall in Moscow, a decision was made to postpone the match between the capital’s Lokomotiv and St. Petersburg Zenit by half an hour: the game was supposed to start at 16:30 Moscow time, but starts at 17:00.
According to him, the issue of canceling and postponing the game is not being considered, but the RPL will consider the possibility of postponing a number of games of the 18th round of the Russian championship, which are due to take place next week.
The game between Rostov and CSKA took place on December 3 at the Moscow VEB Arena stadium. Russian striker Fedor Chalov and Chilean midfielder Victor Mendez scored goals among the winners. After 17 rounds of the RPL, CSKA scored 28 points and ranks fifth in the standings. “Rostov”, after a similar number of rounds, has 20 points and is in tenth place.
