The School of Dramatic Arts has announced plans for the new season.

The first premiere of the Stage on Novoslobodskaya will take place on 9 and 11 September. The audience will see the play “Molière. Impromptu directed by Oleg Malakhov. The production involved graduates of the course Malakhov and Alexander Ogarev at the Moscow State Pedagogical University (MGPU).

On September 15 and 16, the work will be presented by Alexei Martynov with the play “Holes” based on the play by Lidia Golovanova (workshop of Dmitry Brusnikin).

In October – “Tatyana’s Wonderful Dream” based on the novel by Alexander Pushkin “Eugene Onegin” (director Oleg Malakhov).

In November, Gleb Cherepanov will release a production of Vasily Terkin based on the poem by Alexander Tvardovsky. The performance is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the first publication of the poem.

In the same month, viewers will see Aleko, a one-act opera by Sergei Rachmaninov directed by Mikhail Kolegov. This is the work of the Ivan Popovsky Opera and Drama Studio.

In December, the premiere of the play “The Dream of a Ridiculous Man” based on the novel by Fyodor Dostoevsky, directed by Kristina Zvykova, the winner of the ArtMasters championship, will take place.

Young spectators are expected to attend the New Year’s musical performance Arkady Parovozov’s Birthday, directed by Vadim Volya.

And two more premieres. Pavel Kartashev will show “The Seagull” based on the play by Anton Chekhov, and in April, director Konstantin Mukhanov will present the audience with the play “The Elder Son” by Alexander Vampilov.

On September 24, the final show of the ArtMasters National Open Championship of Creative Competencies will take place on the Stage on Sretenka.

The whole season in the space of the Stage on Novoslobodskaya will be held by an acting laboratory under the direction of Igor Yatsko. People with an acting or directing education can take part in it. Its result at the end of the season will be the production of “1000 and 1 Night”.

Tour

The combined team will go on tour to Saransk (September 21-25), Saratov (October 25), Veliky Novgorod (November) and Kazan (June).
