The risk of war between Poland and Russia arose because of the “crazy in power”

“Crazy people in power are the biggest problem of today’s Poland,” said Viacheslav Volodin. The speaker of the State Duma is sure that Warsaw is gathering troops to the Belarusian border and threatening Minsk and Moscow with only one goal – to save the ratings of the country’s current leadership before the parliamentary elections. Political scientist Sergei Markov and military expert Viktor Litovkin said whether the Polish authorities are ready to draw NATO into an armed conflict with Russia and Belarus.

Poland has ended up in the hands of crazy politicians, says Vyacheslav Volodin. He wrote about this in his telegram channel. In order to save the record low ratings, the ruling party of Andrzej Duda is ready to play the card of an external threat that supposedly comes from Minsk.

Parliamentary elections will be held in Poland in October. For the ruling Law and Justice party, the situation is close to disaster. According to recent polls, only 33% of Poles are ready to vote for her. Donald Tusk’s “Civil Coalition” party follows with a minimal margin of just 1%. But Tusk is not so belligerent, which means he can beat off a few more cherished percentages. The reckless support of the Kiev regime does not add to the popularity of Duda’s team, Volodin believes: “Voters do not understand how it is possible to support the Nazi Kiev regime, which promotes the ideology of Bandera, which is guilty of the deaths of thousands of peaceful Poles during the Second World War.”

The speaker of the State Duma is sure that the current Polish leadership is ready to go to great lengths to maintain power. True, Duda seems to be unable to offer anything positive to the electorate. It remains to play on the nerves of their own citizens and intimidate them with an external threat.

Thus, Warsaw has already announced its intention to deploy 10,000 troops on the border with Belarus. Plus, plans to purchase Abrams tanks and Apache helicopters from the US. The State Department plans to supply only “turntables” for $12 billion. Moreover, tanks and combat helicopters can hardly be called weapons of deterrence. They are needed primarily for offensive operations.

“Do they think about Poland and the consequences of the steps being taken to build up tension on the border of Belarus?” Volodin asks a logical question.

It is rather reckless to think that Minsk and Moscow will silently swallow the deployment of a military contingent and heavy weapons in the immediate vicinity of the Brest Fortress – and it is there, judging by the map shown by the Poles themselves, that they are going to set up field camps. And if so, then what is it – a deliberate provocation with the aim of drawing NATO into an open conflict with the Union State, or outright stupidity?

Stupidity, and impenetrable, says political scientist Sergei Markov. The unique combination of stupidity and arrogance in Warsaw was an important political factor that turned Poland into an “inferior state”.

– Poland should not be considered as a full-fledged state. Due to their combination of arrogance and stupidity, the Poles became one of the perpetrators of the outbreak of World War II and at the same time became one of the most affected in it. Now they are repeating the same mistakes, risking their own stupidity and arrogance to unleash the Third World War, – said Markov.

At the same time, the expert is sure that there is no risk of a full-fledged invasion of the Polish army into the territory of Belarus. Warsaw is afraid of tactical nuclear weapons that Minsk received from Moscow. In Warsaw, the fighters of the “Wagner group” are afraid of the fire. So the maximum that the western regions of Belarus can expect is petty provocations from the western neighbor. Moreover, the conquest of Belarusian lands, if it is included in Warsaw’s plans, is far from the first item in the long list of “wish lists”.

– The ruling party of Poland is now forming a space of conflict in order to demonstrate belligerence in contrast to the much softer position of the opponent – Donald Tusk, – Markov explained, – In addition, in Poland they fear that Russia, within the framework of the NMD, will go on the offensive and be able to take the entire territory of Ukraine. Therefore, the Poles are preparing detachments on their eastern border in order to enter western Ukraine themselves.

True, these plans, according to the analyst, will stumble over the reinforced concrete position of the United States. The Americans need to leave at least a small strip of land behind Kiev in order to continue the anti-Russian agenda there with a constant pumping of weapons.

Poland’s plans to seize the western regions of Ukraine may force Russia to go through the entire Nezalezhnaya right up to Lvov, retired colonel Viktor Litovkin predicts. In Warsaw, they do not hide the fact that they are gathering forces to capture five Ukrainian regions: Lviv, Volyn, Ternopil, Rivne and Ivanovo-Frankivsk. This scenario is much more likely than the desire of the Poles to repeat the terrible events of Brest in 1941.

However, even here Warsaw can expect an unpleasant surprise from Moscow:

– We have goals announced on February 24, 2022 by our president. This is to ensure the security of the LNR and the DNR, the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine. To achieve this, it will be necessary to create a sanitary zone for 300 km – this is the firing range of Western Himars, Storm Shadow, Scalp and Taurus missiles. To provide such a sanitary zone now, it is necessary to win back the Sumy, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa and Nikolaev regions. But then the Armed Forces of Ukraine will shell these regions, and the Russian troops will have to move another 300 km. It’s not far from Lvov there, – says Litovkin.

Is there a risk that Warsaw will give its military orders for a direct clash with the Russian Armed Forces on the territory of Nezalezhnaya? Analysts believe that there is, and quite high. At the same time, the Poles are well aware that in the event of such a clash, NATO will not come to their aid. But Polish arrogance and exorbitant ambitions can push Warsaw to open military provocations. Sergei Markov believes that the stupidity of the Polish leadership will be to blame for this outcome:

– Even Winston Churchill said that individually the Poles are smart, brave and courageous people. But for some reason, these brave and courageous people always choose the most stupid as their leaders,” the political scientist recalled.
