The results of the elections will be summed up no earlier than September 14

The head of the CEC, Ella Pamfilova, said that she had sent out letters recommending not to sum up the results of the elections before September 14. This will affect the results of elections in 18 regions in which elections are held for senior officials of the regions and deputies of legislative bodies.
“I am sure that you will do just that – in accordance with our recommendation,”— reported head of the CEC.
As Ella Pamfilova explained, it is necessary that “all received complaints and appeals be carefully considered” before summing up the results of the elections. “The time until Wednesday is quite enough to apply to the relevant commission if someone has serious grounds for this,” she said.
Also, Ms. Pamfilova told reporters that information about possible violations during the elections for the two days of voting on September 9 and 10 came only from 10 regions. According to her, “out of the 72 remaining regions where elections are held, there have been no such reports at all.”
From September 9 to 11, voting takes place in Russia at elections of various levels in 82 regions of the country. Direct elections of governors are held in 14 regions. Another six regions elect deputies of regional parliaments. Municipal deputies are elected in Moscow. In some regions, citizens can vote online.
