In Yamal, the winners of the district rural sports games were announced, the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug reported.
Participants had to compete in a polyathlon, which included shooting, cross-country skiing and strength gymnastics. Family teams played darts, checkers, table tennis, and also tried their hand at the track and field relay.
Representatives of the Tazovsky district won the team competition in polyathlon. The team from the Krasnoselkup district took second place, and the third place went to participants from the Shuryshkar district.
Among the men’s teams, the first step of the podium was taken by the Yaptunai family from the Tazovsky district, the Petrovs from the Shuryshkarsky district took second place. The Evstafiev family from the Krasnoselkup district became the best among women’s teams.
