The Republicans asked the supervisory authority for information on the effectiveness of assistance to Kyiv

Deputies of the Republican Party from the foreign affairs committees of both houses of the US Congress asked the supervisory authorities to provide information on the provision of assistance to Ukraine and its effectiveness. This is stated in the statement of representatives of the Republicans.
The corresponding request was sent to the General Control Office of the United States by Senator Jim Rish and Congressman Michael McCall.
According to them, it is necessary that US agencies “coordinate” in the course of providing assistance to Ukraine with the international community of organizations of this profile, the authorities of the state from among allies and partners, as well as Kyiv itself.
Rish and McCall stressed that the most important thing is that US aid does not duplicate other efforts, but goes where it is needed most.
