Moscow circulated in the Security Council and the UN General Assembly a letter from Donetsk human rights activists about the shelling of the civilian population of Donbass by Ukraine, declared Dmitry Polyansky, Deputy Representative of Russia to the World Organization.

“On December 8, we distributed as an official document of the Security Council and the UN General Assembly a letter from the Donetsk public organization “Fair Protection” regarding the shelling of the civilian population of Donbass by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This topic will be discussed at today’s meeting of the UN Security Council, dedicated to the supply of Western weapons to Ukraine, he added.

On December 6, the mayor of Donetsk, Aleksey Kulemzin, reported that at least 6 civilians were killed as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU).
