Residents of Yekaterinburg complained about “wild queues” at the police
There were long lines at the police in Yekaterinburg. Many townspeople complain that for three days now they have not been able to put a stamp on their child’s birth certificate, without which he will not be issued a passport at 14 years old. E1.RU writes about this.
According to the publication’s interlocutor Anna, she cannot put a red official stamp and confirm her citizenship. This is required by the decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated November 22, 2023.
The woman said that she came three days in a row, and there were such “wild queues” every day. She added that there were 60 people in line today.
Anna complained about the stuffiness, calling it “a mockery of people.”
The Yekaterinburg police admitted that due to increased demand from citizens, migration departments are actually seeing an influx of applicants.
Employees carry out reception taking into account the requirements for the procedure for processing documents, the department explained.
