“Setting a price and actually selling are two different things”
In early October, it became known that the singer Alla Pugacheva put up for sale for 1 billion rubles a castle in the village of Gryaz, which belongs to her and her husband, humorist Maxim Galkin (included in the register of foreign agents). Real estate agent Arina Lats, an expert in elite real estate, believes that their mansion may become an illiquid property, since it is unlikely that buyers will be found for it in the near future.
In conversation with NEWS.ru Lats noted that the castle of Pugacheva and Galkin has an interesting style, and its area is about 2,000 square meters. In addition, she stressed that it is not far from Moscow, about 40 kilometers away, there are no industrial enterprises next to it, and there is also “a stone’s throw” to the lake. At the same time, the realtor clarified that setting a price for a mansion and actually selling it are two different things. She is convinced that the appearance of real buyers of the castle of the star couple in the near future should not be expected.
As the expert noted, in Russia, even in the current situation, there are wealthy buyers who are ready to invest heavily in real estate. Nevertheless, Lats doubted that potential buyers would choose the Pugacheva and Galkin mansion as an investment, since there is already an “ideological moment” here.
The realtor explained that those who support Galkin’s point of view about the special operation have either already left or are leaving Russia. According to her, these people will not invest in the castle for obvious reasons, because they do not need it here if they leave the country. And those who support the special operation wince at the mere mention of the names of the star spouses, the expert said. Lats concluded that some Russians consider Galkin and Pugacheva traitors, so they will never buy anything from them, and this is “like a black mark.”
