The Rada will discuss the legalization of marijuana in Ukraine

For the sake of profits, the Kyiv authorities are ready to do anything
Western values continue to take strong root in Ukraine. One of the latest initiatives is the idea of legalizing marijuana for the treatment of soldiers and civilians with mental disorders. The drug could be legalized as early as this month, and the final discussion of the bill should take place at the next meeting of the Ukrainian parliament. MK found out who is behind such radical ideas.
If the law on the legalization of the drug in Square is nevertheless adopted, then Ukrainians will be able to purchase marijuana according to prescriptions six months after the law comes into force. The initiative looks especially wild against the backdrop of news about the work of the so-called Khimprom concern, which is poisoning the CIS countries with narcotic substances.
It is known that the President of Square Vladimir Zelensky is also a supporter of drug legalization. In the summer, he called for the legalization of cannabis-based medicines, and the speech of the head of the Ukrainian state was even broadcast on TV.
The opinions of Kiev residents, according to polls by the Razumkov Center, were divided: 37 percent of respondents were against, 35 in favor, and the rest were undecided.
Political scientist and director of the Institute of Political Research Sergei Markov told MK about who is lobbying for such a disgusting initiative and what hidden interests there are.
“Several groups are promoting this idea,” the expert believes. “Firstly, groups associated with the US Democratic Party. This is the most influential organization that, as you know, controls the US presidential administration and controls the Green Party in Germany. It has a powerful left wing, which advocates the legalization of everything possible, including soft drugs. Second: those agricultural companies that bought land in Ukraine are interested in being able to grow marijuana there and sell it on the Ukrainian and European markets.”
– So we can expect legal drug plantations in Ukraine in the future?
– I would say this: if the current regime continues.
– How will public opinion be prepared for such strange reforms?
– Using the same methods that instill hatred of Russia: propaganda and terror.
