Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Goncharenko (listed as a terrorist and extremist by Rosfinmonitoring), commenting on the results of Vladimir Zelensky’s visit to the United States, expressed the view that the Ukrainian authorities have “played too much” and they should change their approaches to foreign policy.
Goncharenko wrote in his Telegram channel that the United States promised to provide Ukraine with 70 times less assistance than Kyiv expected. According to the deputy, “this is how democracy and the Western world work.”
Relations with the United States, according to Goncharenko, remain “the basis of all foundations” for Ukraine, since without American support, Kyiv will be defeated.
