Ministry of Transport of Crimea: the queue of cars at the Crimean bridge has reached 8 km
The queue of cars at the entrance to the Crimean bridge from the Krasnodar Territory reached 8 km by Monday morning, it takes at least 5 hours to pass the bridge, Crimean Transport Minister Nikolai Lukashenko said on his telegram channel.
The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation previously noted that the queues are associated with an increase in the number of vehicles, as well as with luggage subject to inspection. The department asked motorists to pack things in advance in bags convenient for unloading. On Saturday, the traffic jam reached 9 km, on Sunday – 8 km. The Ministry of Transport informed about the opening of additional checkpoints.
“The route through the Crimean bridge Krasnodar Territory – the Republic of Crimea as of 07:00 traffic jam is 8 km, waiting time is up to 5 hours,” Lukashenka shared the details.
The queue of cars at the exit from the Crimea near the bridge now does not exceed 500 m, the waiting time for passage is 40 minutes, he concluded.
