The Public Council under the Ministry of Defense visited the Tver garrison

The new building of the military commissariat of the Tver region is really impressive. The facade of the building is completely different from the dull buildings of the last century that are familiar to all of us. Modern design, unusual architecture immediately catches the eye.

Military Commissar Colonel Igor Yanin says that the Commissariat will work on the principle of a multifunctional center. The electronic system for the reception of citizens allows you to regulate the flow of the population, and common databases, including information from the pension fund, civil registry offices, and the bank, will help military registration and enlistment office staff as quickly as possible to help those who apply to them for resolving issues of conscription or concluding contracts.

There are offices for legal consultations. There is a department of military-patriotic education, as well as a hall for 160 people, where future defenders of the Motherland can watch military-patriotic films, videos dedicated to service in the Armed Forces.

Rooms are ready to accommodate officers and conscripts, a room for issuing uniforms, a dining room. Just in case, a medical isolation ward with a separate exit to the street is equipped. Whatever you say, the epidemiological situation is still complicated.

Everything is done with maximum comfort and coziness, although it meets all the statutory standards.

– We finally saw what the Minister of Defense was talking about in terms of changing the work of military commissariats, – said Pavel Gusev. – This is a completely new system work.

The editor-in-chief of MK stressed that now we are seeing exactly what will give an understanding to a young man who has crossed the threshold of the military registration and enlistment office that he has come to serve in the Russian army.

Deputy Chairman of the Public Council, retired Lieutenant-General Rafael Timoshev, in turn, stressed that the development of the army requires a new recruitment system.

The next point of the working trip of social activists is the Tver Suvorov School. Boys from the 5th to the 11th grade study here, who decided to connect their lives with the army. Classrooms are equipped with the latest progress: interactive whiteboards, computers, multimedia stands.

Student desks in different rooms differ in design. For example, a literature study combines an ordinary classroom and a living room with a real fireplace. An environment corresponding to the golden age of Russian literature.

Everything is done in order to arouse in the child an interest in what he is studying. In addition to compulsory disciplines, in their free time, Suvorov students can find a hobby to their liking. There is a cool swimming pool, an indoor hockey rink, a shooting range, a gym, rooms for avatar modeling, robotics, classes for singing and dancing. By the way, everyone dances – from the waltz and the mazurka to the break dance, beloved by young people.

Frankly, at some point I even regretted that I was not a boy of ten years old and could not stay here.

By the way, the living conditions of the guys are also envious. The times of the “Spartan” barracks have long sunk into oblivion, and now the Suvorovites live in comfortable rooms for two people. Shower and toilet with the calculation of one for two rooms.

The visit of the Moscow delegation coincided with the qualifying games of KVN among pre-university educational institutions of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Glavred “MK” was invited as a member of the jury. Suvorovites from Moscow and Tula, Nakhimovites from Vladivostok, Suvorovites from the military music school named after General Khalilov, as well as beautiful girls from the Boarding School of Pupils of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation came to compete for the title of the most cheerful and resourceful. The hosts of the stage – the guys from Tverskoy Suvorov also did not lose face.

Jokes, songs, dances flowed in an inexhaustible stream for more than two hours. It was not easy to choose the best. But, as they say, houses and walls help. By unanimous decision of the jury, the first place with the right to reach the final of the pre-university KVN was awarded to the Tver Suvorov. There are exceptions to any rules, and therefore there were two finalists in this game. Together with the boys, the pupils of the Boarding School also reached the final.

The next item in the program of the visit of the delegation of the Public Council was much more serious: the public met with the command of the motorized rifle regiment, formed from among the mobilized, as well as with the military personnel themselves, who would soon go to the zone of the special military operation.

Training takes place on the basis of the training center of the Military Academy of Aerospace Defense. The course has now been in its fifth week. The fighters train daily at the training ground and are already completing the stage of combat coordination.

According to the mobilized themselves, they have already been given winter uniforms and everything they need. Body armor has been ordered and will be issued immediately before departure from Tver.

The regiment commander believes that the servicemen have learned to interact with each other. According to him, many want to continue to perform tasks in the same composition. The final decision lies with the military leadership.

According to the requirements, mobile phones were collected and handed over to relatives. But meetings with relatives on the territory of the training center are allowed. Relatives can not only communicate, but also make sure with their own eyes that their men are shod, dressed, fed.

By the way, as the men themselves said, the food is almost restaurant-like. Three times a day, no matter what, even on training grounds, hot food is brought by cooks.

Perhaps the only problem that some fighters are puzzled by is unresolved credit relationships with banks. Pavel Gusev promised the servicemen to assist in resolving this issue and ask for assistance from the military leadership.

On November 1, the autumn conscription began in the country. It started a month later than usual due to partial mobilization. Members of the Public Council in one of the Tver military registration and enlistment offices talked with conscripts who are now undergoing a medical examination.

In a narrow corridor on both sides, along the walls, boys crowd with medical cards in their hands. They have to go through ten specialists, who will make a verdict on the suitability of the guys for military service.

– Now guys who want to serve here have gathered, – the military commissar explained.

Eighteen-year-old resident of the Tver region Ivan Drobotenko says that he was not going to run away from the army. The summons came, he came right away.

“I really want to get into special communications, like my father,” the young man admits.

Ivan shared that he dreamed of entering a military school, but, unfortunately, did not pass the competition.

– I’m not very good at studying, – Ivan is embarrassed.

– How do you feel about the events connected with the special military operation?

– It is difficult to comment, but I only know from the news what is happening there. I am convinced that all this is not in vain. And, of course, the victory will be ours.
