Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin spoke during the “government hour” in the Federation Council. He told the senators that the repair of the automobile part of the Crimean bridge should be completed in December.
Also by December, as reported in Telegram channel Mr. Khusnullin, the repair of the highway from Dzhankoy to Novoazovsk, which will connect the Rostov region and the Crimea, will be completed. The length of the road will be 380 km. Now, according to Mr. Khusnullin, this route is being used by trucks that cannot cross the Crimean bridge.
On the morning of October 8, a truck was blown up on the Crimean bridge. As a result of the explosion, two spans of the automobile part of the bridge collapsed, seven tanks in the railway train caught fire. By the evening of the same day, traffic was launched on the bridge, but the bridge still remains closed to trucks. The Nizhneangarsktransstroy company is engaged in the restoration of the automobile and railway parts.
