According to the specialist, if you imagine that the frightening scenarios that exist in your head have come true in reality and feel your feelings at that moment, it will become much easier and it will happen quickly.
Tolokonin recommends learning to form positive thoughts and focus not on fears, but on positive moments. You need to concentrate on the good for 10-15 minutes 3-4 times a day.
In addition, whenever negative thoughts begin to overcome, you need to focus on breathing.
“Think about the fact that through breathing, life rushes into your consciousness in a bright stream,” advises Tolokonin. “Enjoy this process, be grateful to the universe and God for such a simple, but at the same time wonderful thing.”
The psychologist explained that “when a person concentrates on the good, his mood improves markedly.”
Another way to quickly deal with negativity is to work with the body. Tolokonin emphasized the importance of sports and any vigorous activity in a person’s life, as they help to concentrate on the process and thus distract from disturbing thoughts.
