The Prosecutor General’s Office recognized the activities of the publication DOXA as undesirable in the Russian Federation
The Prosecutor General’s Office recognized the activities of the publication DOXA (recognized by the Ministry of Justice as a foreign media agent) as undesirable in Russia. Thus, the supervisory agency supported the appeal of the State Duma commission to investigate the facts of interference of foreign states in the internal affairs of the country. This was announced by the Chairman of the Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption Vasily Piskarev, as reported in the telegram channel of the relevant commission.
“The Prosecutor General’s Office supported our appeal and recognized the activities of the openly hostile organization Mnenie media zs (Doxa) disguised as a student publication on Russian territory as undesirable,” Piskarev said.
He added that this publication is registered in the Czech Republic and has repeatedly come to the attention of the commission.
Also, according to Piskarev, it posted instructions for committing arson at military registration and enlistment offices and other government institutions.
Let us recall that the State Duma Commission on Foreign Intervention addressed the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation with a request recognize the publication as extremist in November 2022.
A few months earlier, its editors were convicted and sentenced to two years of correctional labor for involving teenagers in uncoordinated actions.
Let us recall that in April 2023, in relation to the editor-in-chief of the publication there was a criminal case has been initiated to justify terrorism.
