According to the document, the decision to restrict the right to drive a car will be entered into the unified military register (it should appear by the autumn draft). Within a day after the receipt of such a decision in the database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the information will be entered “into the special software of the federal information system” of the traffic police. From that moment on, the rights will be considered invalid.

Depriving evaders of driving licenses is provided for by the law on the introduction of a unified register of persons liable for military service in the Russian Federation, which was signed by President Vladimir Putin in April, before that the document was approved by State Duma deputies and senators of the Federation Council. From the date of receipt of the summons from the military registration and enlistment office (both in electronic and paper form), the citizen will be limited in obtaining bank loans, leaving Russia, using transport and registering it with the traffic police. The Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation noted that the unified register of electronic summonses will start working this year and will begin to operate by the autumn call.

On July 6, the head of the traffic police of Russia, Mikhail Chernikov, announced that his department would introduce additional restrictions for dodgers. According to him, citizens who evade conscription into the army will not be able to pass the exam for a driver’s license. He clarified that the State traffic inspectorate has the ability to track data on Russians who did not appear at the military registration and enlistment office.
