Footballers from Ivanovo “Textilshchik” continue to play in the “Silver” division of the Second League “A”. The Ivanovo team started at the “Silver” level for the second time in a row and this time they will try to fulfill the task set by the management. In the fall, “Textilshchik” was supposed to advance to “Gold”, according to the management, but Igor Kolyvanov’s team could not complete the task and took only 5th place, scoring one point less than “Chelyabinsk”, which received a promotion in class.
On March 18, the Tekstilshchik players will face another test. For the second time in a row, Igor Kolyvanov’s team will play against an opponent who previously played in the Second League “B”. The red-blacks will try to score points in the match against Kaluga, which became the best in group No. 3 and received a promotion. In the opening two matches of the championship, Kaluga shared points with their opponents and lost. First, “Kaluga” broke away peacefully with “Torpedo Miass”, and then lost to “Avangard” from Kursk.
