The Pope gave a terrifying prediction about the future

Pope Francis, during a Sunday Mass at the Vatican, uttered something like a prophecy warning humanity of the approach of dark times. How writes The Daily Mail, despite the current problems of mankind – war, poverty, hunger, rising cost of living and an energy crisis – he said that he dreamed of even more terrible things in the future.

“This is a bitter time, filled with the roar of war, growing injustice, hunger, poverty and suffering,” the quote is quoted. But in these dark and uncertain times, there are omens of even greater destruction and devastation.

What might happen to the world in the foreseeable future, Francis did not specify in his sermon.

At the same time, he noted that now, before Christmas, “the love of the Lord also descends on us to remind us that this is also the time of salvation.” The pontiff quoted the Gospel of John: “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.”
