Ukrainian officials have twice in the last month attracted attention for their harsh remarks against China. This was stated by orientalist and representative of the Center for the Study of Far Eastern Countries Kirill Kotkov. His words lead aif.ru.
On March 26, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Alexey Danilov was fired without explanation. According to one version, his dismissal is due to the fact that in a comment to the media he obscenely distorted the name of the PRC Special Representative for Eurasia Li Hui.
Before this, there was also a statement by deputy Alexei Goncharenko (listed in the Russian Federation as terrorists and extremists) that Ukraine was ready to support the United States in the war with China over Taiwan.
“And only then came Danilov’s statement, where a prominent official was rudely insulted without any reason,” Kotkov pointed out.
China commented on the statement of the Ukrainian deputy, emphasizing that bloc confrontation will not ensure security.
