A curious pensioner entered the building of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation on Povarskaya Street on February 28 to take part in the wake of the Chairman of the Supreme Court Vyacheslav Lebedev. Now the elderly woman will have to answer for violating the access control regime of a protected facility.
As MK found out, 67-year-old Rosalia Ivanovna (name changed) has been attending funerals of famous people for a long time – this has become a kind of hobby for her. Therefore, on February 28, she gathered at the Novodevichy cemetery, where the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Lebedev, was interred. After the funeral, Rosalia Ivanovna approached two unfamiliar men of representative appearance who were talking among themselves about Lebedev. At some point, one of the organizers gave these men passes to the funeral – magnetic cards. Since the pensioner was nearby, she also received a pass – apparently, she was confused with someone from the representatives of the judicial society. Without thinking twice, the old woman boarded a special bus with strangers and went to the wake, to the courthouse.
After the event, when she was already leaving the building, she asked the security who to give the pass to. The surprised guards immediately became interested in the identity of the strange visitor, and then called the police. According to the woman, she spent an hour and a half in the department.
“They kept asking me why I went to the wake, who gave me the pass,” said the pensioner. “In the end, the pass was taken away. At two o’clock in the morning they brought me home because the metro was closed.
An administrative case was opened against the lady for violating the access control regime of a protected facility. She faces a fine of 5 to 10 thousand rubles.
“I just wanted to see how the funerals of famous people are held, how Orthodox commemorations are held, because I am a Tatar. I was at the funeral of Zhirinovsky and Solomin, and now I managed to visit Lebedev,” the offender explained.
