The most popular anti-heroes from Russian fairy tales among Russians are Baba Yaga and Koschey the Immortal, RIA Novosti reports with reference to study educational platform Skillbox and online survey service Anketolog, dedicated to the Day of Koshchei the Immortal (February 29). This anti-hero was not only among the most popular, but also topped the rating of the most repulsive characters.

The vast majority of Russians (95%) love fairy tales with positive endings. Every third person likes miracles and magic in fairy tales, every fourth person likes folk wisdom and life lessons, every fifth person likes the triumph of good over evil.
