As part of the all-Russian alpine skiing competition “Prize of the branch of Rosenergoatom Concern JSC Kola Nuclear Power Plant”, children aged 14-15 years took to the start line. The competition was organized in the Salma complex in the city of Polyarnye Zori, the Ministry of Sports noted.

From March 4 to 7, girls and boys demonstrated their skills in the slalom and giant slalom disciplines. In total, about 120 young people from Murmansk, Leningrad, Moscow, Kaluga, Voronezh and other regions, Moscow, Karelia and St. Petersburg took part.

Polar athletes won four medals: two gold, one silver and bronze. In addition, the Murmansk region became the winner of the competition based on the results of the team competition.
