The player who beat the black judge in Chelyabinsk was disqualified for life

An amateur football player who got into a fight with a referee in Chelyabinsk received a serious punishment. The Northwest 8×8 League banned the player for life from competition. In addition, the Bazhov club, for which the violator played, was fined 5,000 rubles.
The incident occurred during a match between the teams “Bazhov” and “Katren” on August 20. Involved referee Georges Maxim, a black referee, was attacked by Bazhova player Telman Snjoyan. The referee did not require medical assistance after the incident.
On Wednesday, August 23, a meeting of the Control and Disciplinary Committee (CDC) of the “North-West League 8×8” was held, where it was decided to punish Snjoyan. On the page of the league in the social network “VKontakte” a message was published stating that he would be banned for life from participation in this amateur league.
A video of the incident was posted on the league’s official YouTube channel, but was later removed. The video depicted a clash that occurred at the end of the second half, after Tital Snjoyan was sent off by referee Maxim. This aroused the anger of Telman Snjoyan, his teammate, who reacted to the removal by shouting at the referee. While the referee was getting a red card for Telman, the player struck the referee with several punches and kicks. Maxim tried to defend himself and respond to the attack, but Snjoyan applied a wrestling technique and knocked him to the lawn.
