The perpetrator of the murder of deputy Starovoytova asked for parole

The United Press Service of the Courts of St. Petersburg reported that the Kolpinsky District Court registered a petition for parole (parole) of Vitaly Akishin, who is the perpetrator of the murder of Russian State Duma deputy Galina Starovoitova.
The press service report states that the materials of Akishin’s application for parole were transferred to the judge, but have not yet been accepted for proceedings. In his petition, the killer indicates that after the expiration of the period established by Russian legislation, the unserved part of the sentence was replaced by forced labor. Akishin added that he has no existing penalties or comments from the employer or the administration of the correctional institution, and he also takes part in charitable activities and public life.
The petition also shows that the killer has incentives and commendations, and moreover, he has served two-thirds of his sentence.
