The parents of a friend of a 12-year-old pregnant schoolgirl doubted his paternity

To confirm the relationship, the guy’s mother demands a DNA test.

The pregnancy that doctors discovered in a 12-year-old schoolgirl in the Leningrad region became a bolt from the blue for two families at once. The girl was admitted to the hospital with complaints of acute pain in the abdomen, and the cause of the pain turned out to be an 18-week-old fetus. It turned out that the child’s father could be the girl’s 16-year-old friend from school—the teenagers had been dating for almost six months. But the guy’s parents doubt: is this their grandson?

Nobody took the school romance seriously. You never know – the guys play at love. Moreover, the misalliance has emerged quite sharply. The girl is an excellent student, draws and sings. The guy has a strong reputation as a hooligan and a quitter; he was retained for the second year in the eighth grade due to poor academic performance.

But childhood love had adult consequences. The pregnancy was discovered at a considerable period of time. Now the expectant mother is in the gynecological department of the district hospital, pregnancy is not having the best effect on her health.

As for the “groom,” his parents doubt: is he really the father? To confirm the relationship, the mother requires a DNA test. In her opinion, even though the girl was only 12, she could have gotten pregnant from anyone.

If the test confirms the relationship, the “Romeo” family is ready to help in everything, but the future relatives refuse to accept help. As the girl’s mother told the MK correspondent, a serious relationship is unlikely to work out here.

– This is not just a matter for parents. The girl also has her own opinion, even though she is just a child. But the guy is already 16. If he did something wrong, he should be held accountable, say neighbors in the village where the schoolchildren live.

– I believe that in such a situation the parents are to blame. If you see that teenagers are dating, you need to explain everything about contraception. I understand that it is difficult to imagine a sexual relationship at this age, but it happened,” says local resident Anna.

As we were told in the village, teenagers continue to communicate with each other. The expectant father writes messages to his friend in the hospital and plans to visit her as soon as possible.

The 12-year-old girl’s health remains at risk.

According to current legislation, responsibility for seducing minors begins at the age of 18. The age of “Romeo” from the Leningrad region does not fall under the scope of this article, so the guy does not face criminal prosecution.
