In addition, Aznauryan stressed that the lighting while reading books or watching TV should be such that it is safe for the eyes. He emphasized that sudden changes in lighting can seriously affect the retina.

“In no case is it recommended to watch or read in the dark. The general light should always be on, ”said the ophthalmologist.

He added that the reflection of the lamp on the TV is also unacceptable.
