In the village of Ust-Ilya, Akshinsky District, Trans-Baikal Territory, where less than 500 people live, the only woodcutter was mobilized. Partial mobilization in Russia was announced on 21 September. The authorities of the Trans-Baikal Territory reported on the implementation of tasks related to mobilization on September 30. The number of Russians called up as part of the partial mobilization reached 260,000 people. Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the plans were to mobilize 300,000 people.
