Commissioner for Human Rights in the Sverdlovsk Region Tatyana Merzlyakova said that she had asked to return all Sverdlovsk conscripts who ended up in the Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk and Voronezh regions to the place of deployment of units. This happened after the death of three conscripts from the region during shelling in the Belgorod region.
According to her, the conscripts underwent military training in the Belgorod region. A shell hit their bus, killing three people and injuring seven more.

Tatyana Merzlyakova said that she decided to turn to the head of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov with a request to transfer conscripts back to their places of deployment in the Sverdlovsk region. “This letter was sent today by courier mail,” she added.
