The oldest linguistic school has been reconstructed in the Saratov region

100 schools in the Saratov region should be overhauled in the next few years. “MK” observed how construction is going on in several educational institutions in the region.

Some schools in the Saratov region managed to noticeably change literally in one summer. While the students were on vacation, teams of repairmen worked on the appearance of their native classrooms. So, a large-scale overhaul was made in the Saratov MAOU “Secondary School No. 18 UIP them. O.P. Tabakov”, MOU “Secondary School of the village of Znamensky” in the Ivanteevsky district and MOU “Secondary School with. Voskresenskoye” of the Voskresensky district.

In addition to renovated roofs, facades, floor coverings and window blocks, schools received new furniture and modern computer equipment, as well as equipment for sports halls. The updated interiors of educational institutions were liked not only by teachers and schoolchildren, but also by parents. Moreover, both children and mothers and fathers could follow the progress of work online and even offer their ideas when creating design projects.

– Today, when we came to apply for the 10th grade, we saw how the school has changed, it was unrecognizable. The atmosphere in the classrooms has changed, they have become bright and beautiful, and recently the learning conditions have improved, it has become warm and comfortable, compared to how it was before. The quality of food has improved due to the receipt of new and modern equipment for the canteen. Children receive hot meals and are happy to stay for additional classes and circles. Thanks to the school administration and everyone who took part in the improvement, – says a member of the governing council of parents of students of the MOU “Secondary School with. Resurrection” Elena Nikitina.

Another school included in the overhaul program for 2022 is the secondary school in the village of Yakovlevka. According to the director of the school Guzel Tugusheva, the school building was put into operation in 1980 and over the 42 years of its existence it has been pretty worn out. Reconstruction or complete replacement required most of the engineering systems and structures. The overhaul project includes a new heating system, water supply, electrical work, as well as an upgrade of the fire alarm system.

A similar front of work is in the secondary school of the village of Sulak, Krasnopartizansky district.

New furniture, textbooks, sports equipment were purchased for the educational institution.

“For us, this is a wonderful gift, which not only children and teachers, but also all the inhabitants of our village have long dreamed of. Thanks to the overhaul, our school will become more comfortable, bright, meeting the demands of the times. And most importantly, school life for our children will become more comfortable and safe, – commented the director of the secondary school s. Sulak Natalia Agalakova.

Overhaul in the Saratov gymnasium No. 3 is taking place for the first time since its construction. The school was built 48 years ago.

– Almost all old communications were removed, only walls remained from the former building. Yes, and those in the course of repair work were thoroughly strengthened. They also strengthened the foundation. Newly equipped sewerage system, hot and cold water supply, electricity. Due to the fact that the kitchen was moved to an adjacent room, the area of ​​​​the dining hall of the dining room has significantly increased, – said the director of the MAOU “Gymnasium No. 3” Tatyana Raikova.

Saratov Gymnasium No. 3 was founded in 1954 and became one of three schools in the USSR where some subjects were taught in English. Since then, the educational institution has been considered one of the best linguistic schools in the country.
