The number of voters in Russia decreased by 133,000 people in six months

The CEC of Russia published data on the number of voters as of July 1, 2023. There are 107,915,325 people with the right to vote in Russia, 2,004,940 people outside the Russian Federation, and 11,653 people in Baikonur. The Central Election Commission does not publish information on the number of voters in the new regions.
The number of voters in the Russian Federation decreased by more than 133,000 people compared to the data as of January 1, 2023. At the same time, the number of voters outside Russia increased from 1,984,676 – this number lived on January 1, 2023 – to 2,004,940 people. In Baikonur, the number of voters remained almost unchanged – 11,541 people as of January 1, 2023 and 11,653 people as of July 1, 2023.
On January 1, 2022, according to the CEC, 107,943,728 people with the right to vote lived in Russia, 2,014,618 people lived outside the Russian Federation, and 12,273 people lived in Baikonur. Vedomosti sent a request to the CEC of Russia.
On a single voting day on September 10, direct elections of 21 governors, deputies of 20 legislative assemblies of the constituent entities, and additional elections of four deputies of the State Duma will be held. Also, five heads of regions, including all four new ones, will be elected through voting in parliaments.
