The number of Russians employed in small and medium-sized businesses has reached a historical maximum

The number of Russian citizens employed in small and medium-sized businesses in August this year for the first time reached 28 million people. This is reported by the audit and consulting network FinExpertiza based on data from the Ministry of Economic Development.
Thus, since the beginning of the year, this figure has increased by 2.5 million employees, or by 9.8%.
Approximately 38.6% of all employees in the Russian Federation are employed by such workers.
Employment in small and medium-sized businesses grew in the Chechen Republic by 91.1%, in Dagestan – by 88.5%, in Kabardino-Balkaria – by 55.1%, in Ingushetia – by 35.6%, in Tyva – by 25.4%, in Kalmykia – by 24.7%, in North Ossetia – by 23.8%, in Karachay-Cherkessia – by 22.4%, in Buryatia – by 15.5% and in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug – by 15 .2%.
